Marshall Area Stage Company or MASC
After moving to Marshall, MN, I quickly made it one of my goals to get involved in community theatre, as it was something I loved as a child, and did in high school, however high school kinda sucked for theatre, as the cool tech jobs went to same kids every year. Anyways, I found out most of my information about MASC through their website, but in doing so I quickly found their site was in dire need of some updating, the html was poorly formatted, each page looked and behaved differently, it was a mess to say the least. The person, maintianing who later would become my lighting and sound menotr, had limited knowledge of Web development, and did his best to maintain it. Needless to say I was eager to try and update the site. When I lost my job this past June (2011) due to "budget", I decided to make a new MASC site, and if they didn't like it I would just host it myself as an example of my work for my resume, it also helps serve to keep me sane (and sometimes insane) as I look for a job.
So i embarked in creating this site using php and mysql, I first started out by desiging the database in my head, and what kinda of stuff I thought the site should be able to do, I then proceddeed to build the database and then the site around the database, adding a few tables and features I went. I also added a admin back end so that anyone could update the site without having to know html, css, or javascript.
To date this is my most complete, complex and nicest looking site to date, and im not finished yet, As I want to keep learning and improving the site. So please check back regularly, as from time to time it will change.
Grace Episcopal Church V1.5
Early 2011, Once again Grace Episcopal Church of Madison, SD asked me to make some changes, mainly adding a outreach page to their site. Since then I have seized the opertunity to make some tweaks to the css and javascript, Im still not compeletly statisfied with how it looks, as i still have most of the sam restrictions as i did before, However I feel the site looks a little better then current version. and hopefully will be moving into production soon.
Grace Episcopal Church
In late March (2010), a small subgroup of the computer club was asked if they would like to re-design a website for a local church, since then the task fell solely upon me to complete, with it being installed in late June of 2010.

For my last semester of college I began working on a kiosk app using WPF, this was my first time using WPF and is a somewhat graphical intesive app, so the code is a little rough. On that note, once I get the code in order and built I will be posting the code online free to download, I still need to create a appropriate license file before uploading. Until then if anyone wants to the source code please send an email to address found on the resume page and I will take it into consideraiton.
A while back when I had free access to a ASP.NET server I started working on a custom Blog system. The idea beheind the system was to have database that would allow me to dynamically create posts via a WYSIWYG, visitors would be able to sign up for an account and leave comments. My hope was to do soemthing similar to what I'm doing now and that is to upload code samples, talk about movies, games, tv, software, and daily going ons, etc.
Long story short, my roommates moved, the server went down and all I have left is the source code, which doesn't work all that well without actually being up on a server. I'm providing the source code along with a readme.docx file that I created earlier when I submited it as part of a job application.
The following files are either from classes or programs I wrote when helping students with their CSC 150/250 classes
